i think the most important part is that if they switch to linux, you are now their IT support, and they will rely on you. be patient and understanding with them, even if stuff is not necessarily broken.

sideloading is a whole thing on android. don’t like the options that the play store gives you ? fdroid has your back

is revolt good ? I’m in no desilusion that i’d be able to make my friends move away from discord, but maybe for new communities ?

so far it’s really nice, it’s what I liked in reddit and before that forums, without being what reddit became.
