I wish people just had 1% of the radicalism that these guys have in the west, but as long as our treatlerite faces get stuffed with imperial bounty shit will never happen here :(

It’s really frustrating to watch how people keep talking about how you just have to vote harder, when we can see a concrete example of how workers actually take power in Bolivia.

The mass delusion makes me feel like I’m in a zombie movie. Like I’ve explained it, countless times through history we’ve fought this battle. It always goes the same way. Yet they still think they can vote their way out of this.

Agreed. They don’t want the treats to stop flowing; it’s an addiction at this point. So many people around me aren’t even willing to boycott, which I view as the barest minimum involvement at this point. Anything that threatens their comforts is summarily dismissed out of hand. For a lot of people, that level of consumption is not going to be sustainable as prices rise without a simultaneous increase in wages. We’ll see what happens if gas prices hit $10 per gallon; I’m expecting the price to start skyrocketing as the supply chain catches up to the shortage.

The thing about denial is that it eventually comes crashing down. Cognitive dissonance takes a lot of energy to maintain, even if it’s unconscious. The libs on the big instances are in a precarious place because they’re not grounded in reality; even if they ignore what we’ve told them now, they won’t be able to do so forever.

Well, they denied Nazis working in multiple governments in high levels the world over for almost a century. I hope you are right.

I choose to believe that we are not some special few, gifted with secret knowledge or special ability but instead the canaries in the coalmine, just the first of many who are perhaps most sensitive to the disinformation environment we are in. Eventually what we know to be true will become undeniable.
