Hell, I created a bit of “content” last night at karaoke, but I don’t know who the people that were recording me were, so I don’t even know where those videos are.
There are like 0.5% as many of us over here, that means there’ll be much more interesting things happening on average in the Reddit user base. We each post much more on average, but there’s still only so much interesting stuff to post.
TBH I’m not against reposting content from reddit, we need more content here… content is content. I would prefer if people were more clear that they’re not the OP though!
Agreed, uninstall one of them and don’t look back. I have moments I need some tech reference that I saved over the years on Reddit, but I don’t go looking for new content.
Reddit on my phone was great. Until they blocked third party apps. Apollo was cleaner, faster and better than even old.reddit. And nu reddit on the web is slow and bloated just like their first party app.
Besides, why should I pull out my laptop or sit down on my PC to access Reddit or Lemmy for that matter?
Wasn’t this a reddit post like…a week ago? That’s the mildly infuriating part, is people regurgitating content from there.
Okay? A lot of us aren’t on Reddit anymore. We still like to see content.
Does no one on Lemmy have original content to post? It’s not like a dog tied to a bike is some big story that everyone needs to know about.
No, but its fitting for this sub. I dont see the issue
I am a lonely hermit with no friends, who only goes to work and home.
Does it sound like I have content to post?
You described the average Redditor so… Yeah?
You take that back! I’m an ex-redditor, thank you very much.

What is this original content you speak of? Do I have to get up to make it?
A week old is pretty bad.
“If I didn’t see it, it’s new to me.”
Do we want Lemmy to be the platform of “week old Reddit”?
Only people using Reddit and Lemmy at the same time would even know. And why would you still be on that shithole?
Is that how long the dogs been there or the photo
Yup. Just chucked it into google image search.

@Transcendant yeah I came in here to ask OP what they did next.
Those of us that left don’t give a shit.
Stop straddling the fence and the problem goes away.

Uninstall Reddit? Ew. You’re one of those mobile users aren’t you… There’s no ‘uninstalling’ Reddit. It’s a website.

A website? Ew. You’re one of those people taking a laptop on your bathroom breaks, aren’t you… 😛
No no no like with a truck and 200 pound floor
I didn’t see it because I don’t use reddit.
So the title of the post should be “When a stranger ties their dog to another stranger’s bike.”
Just because it was on Reddit, doesn’t mean that OP is regurgitating it from there. Maybe they saw it somewhere else.
