willing to burn through public funds in order to gain geopolitical advantages over their adversaries.
So why aren’t other governments doing something similar?
Our government (Australia) basically told the last couple of brands that manufactured locally to piss off. So they did. So now we have literally zero local manufacturers.
Then I guess for security reasons you won’t be signing up.
And all of that would still be true without the “woe is me” addendum to your post.
Downvotes to an honest question. I should take a break from internet.
Complaining about internet numbers? That’s a downvote.

I’m somewhere between steps 2 and 3 myself after around 2500 hours or so of gameplay.
Just realised I’ve probably bought that app at some point - no idea what it costs since Google doesn’t show that information once you own it.
There’s a free version which likely has done restrictions but probably still does exactly what you require:

I’ve been using Image Shrink on Android for the better part of a decade. It works flawlessly for exactly this situation.
I set the resize options to maximum dimension of 1600px.
Then the workflow is share from any app (like the Gallery) to Image Shrink, it resizes the photo(s), then reopens the share prompt to share on to wherever you’re trying to send them (like an email client).
You can also choose Image Shrink in the file picker to do it in reverse - select the files in the app you want, and they get resized on the way in.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electricity_sector_in_Australia
In 2021, Australia’s electricity production reached 265 TWh, with coal accounting for 52.9% and natural gas for 18.8%. Renewable sources, comprising solar, wind, hydro, and bioenergy with waste, collectively made up 26.7% of the total electricity generation mix
If you want to get excited though, check the rapid rise of renewables.

Seriously, who on earth uses facebook?
Me? I know it’s the current hotness to not be on there, but I don’t get sites like Instagram / TickTock / Snapchat where its just reacting to photos and images. I want words dammit.
We’re travelling in the US at the moment, and as an Australian this habit of posting prices that aren’t actually the price really grinds my gears.
In Australia, the listed price is the price you’ll pay. The only exception is if they specify that it excludes GST, in which case the total price will be 10% higher.
In the US, the listed price is the starting price. Then you’ll have a city tax, a state tax, a federal tax, a congestion fee, a service fee, a minimum gratuity, and then of course the optional (but not really) additional tip on top with a suggested minimum of 25%.
It’s making buying things a really sour experience. Just yesterday I bought some clothing that came in a little under $250 and I had $300 cash on me. Easy, that’ll cover it. Nope… ended up having to bust out the card because the total was closer to $320 once all the fees and taxes got thrown on top.
Totally agree. Having recently done 13 hours in economy, the fact my knees are constantly wedged against something and I can’t straighten out is the biggest discomfort. I don’t speak Italian so I don’t need acres of room to swing my arms around, lift the person in front up and give me leg room instead!
Because why make money off you one way, when they can make money off you two ways?
And that’s the last time I like any YouTube videos.
Yeah, nah
