I’ll be honest. I didn’t see your trailer and have no intention to watch it, but there’s already enough info here to know why it’s bad in the other comments and in the tone and content your reaction.
I don’t want to be overly harsh, but just look at how long your text post is here without any attempt at idea separation like sentences or paragraphs. If you don’t immediately see something like that as a problem, I don’t think you have the eye for detail you need to make this work.
If you still want to pursue this though, please take more ownership of the creative process. There are quite a few AI projects that actually have good overall reception. Find them, and really study what they’re doing.
Thanks! I’m migrating all my PCs to Linux anyway and just haven’t gotten to the AI stuff yet, so it sounds like that might fix itself.
Can I ask you what GPU driver version you’re running? I’m running a 7900 XTX as well and recently encountered some stability issues after a driver update (trying to support gaming and AI stuff at the same time). The latest version I could find as a recommendation for similar issues was 24.12.1.

Ooo… I’m running a 7900 XTX as well. Having 24GB without the Nvidia tax has been super nice for AI stuff. I have a 16GB 6900 XT running in another computer, and a lot of my AI model selection is still sized for it. I may need to stop procrastinating and copy your setup sooner rather than later.
Yeah, and even if the raw capability translated directly to performance, a 30% to 40% improvement is still on the minimum side of what I’d want from a full system rebuild. That said, I do expect an X3D chip to grab me within the next couple generations, especially if it’s AM6. I tend to keep old PCs running in various roles for decades with parts interchanging some, so if I end up skipping AM5 entirely, that’ll simplify part compatibility down the line.
For the GPU, I’m mostly just hungry for VRAM now (without going to the AI/enterprise cards), and the 24 GB in the 7900 XTX was a big part of me choosing it. The only sensible step up from there is 32 GB. I’m not going to jump to Nvidia for that though, and given the whole RAM situation and AMD dropping off the very high-end, they probably won’t have viable choices for that either anytime soon.
