It shouldn’t take that long. An hour or two of your time to get a really fleshed out install assuming you are a little tech savvy which it seems you are if you already have a NAS.
Then users don’t have to read it. I’m glad they include it whether I read every note or not. It’s refreshingly transparent. It shows how much work is going on to add perspective to their effort, and it allows me to go back and check for something if I have a very specific issue.
Edit: So much better than the nebulous and infuriating “Various Bug Fixes and Changes”

Love a good isolated vlan

I want to move to a cabin in the mountains near the ocean. Maybe the northern fjords of scandinavia. Somewhere cold. Fuck sitting still and sweating. But otherwise I’m on board with this idea too. lol

hopefully you can eventually find something to replace them with. TP-Link doesn’t have a great track record imo. Poor build quality, bad software, extensive unpatched vulnerabilities, and accusations of spyware (I haven’t gone to the effort to confirm that point yet though.) I messed with them a few times doing network support for businesses. Hated them every time I touched them. Maybe the light switches aren’t as bad in all areas, but I doubt their networking is any better, it’s probably worse since it’s IoT.

😂 😂 😂

Mmkay 😂

Why would they be a shit parent for doing something so simple? The shoes aren’t that much more expensive unless they are talking like some limited edition nonsense. They don’t need to go that far, but just getting some brand name thing to avoid bullying is an easy thing.
Sounds like you’d be a shit parent if you had kids. “I can’t be arsed to help stop your getting bullied because it costs me a few dollars more.”
Certainly there are other lessons to be had here about standing up for oneself and not letting peer pressure dictate your life, but spending a few dollars for brand name sneakers is not something to call people shit parents over.

Yeah, part of why I want to get one soon is to have a semi recent phone before they can’t do graphene properly anymore

When I can afford $250 I’ll keep it in mind. 🙂

The cost of buying a pixel is the only thing stopping me. I don’t have enough to replace my aging phone with much of anything, let alone a pixel.

Man I want to move to Graphene so bad. I want all the google ripped out of my phone.

Only a bitch ass baby boy cares what it smells like over being clean. It’s not a permanent solution so why care? What’s more manly, a man who is scared of a scent, or one who can deal with a scent they don’t like for a wash or two?

PhDs are hard, don’t get discouraged if you get told to rewrite tons of things. My Dad had to rewrite many parts to his dissertation, the arbitrary nature of the rewrites was the hardest part to deal with for him. Hopefully you have better advisors!

Good Luck Luka!
I feel like I’m a minority in this group in that I really don’t like self hosting but I do it anyways because it gives me the things I want from a content/privacy/control/ownership perspective.
ITT, people who didn’t read before posting and people assuming that because their anecdotal evidence is true for them it’s true for everyone. Sheesh. I’ve had some terrible low flow experiences as well but thankfully not in many years. If bringing it up to the landlord does nothing to resolve the issue maybe try to look for a better place eventually. That sucks in the meantime though. A shitty shitter is the worst.

Indeed we do. Big fan of your work btw.
So you’re more asking for a native PS app. Don’t think they’ve dedicated any time to it
