10 months agoI don’t know about the AI projections, but the idea that the current US administration would have a reasoned, thoughtful response to any emerging threat from AI or react in a constructive way to widespread public protests over it is what strains credulity for me.
I thought if there was a silver lining to AI’s resource hogging, maybe it was that it would steal resources away from the abomination that is crypto currencies? So much for my optimism…
