TunerStudio MS is a software that works on Linux that let’s you tune your Mega Squirt, which is an open source ECU for cars.
If you have an old Rover V8 14CUX engine you can use RoverGauge on Linux to see some basic engine diagnostics.
I totally agree with you
That looks awesome. Glad to see it’s on GoG
Kinoite is great. The atomic version of Fedora KDE.
Pokémon Crystal (Polished Crystal ROM hack). It’s amazing. It’s a Vanilla+ experience of Crystal. The most notable thing to me is It’s now 60fps. Then all the QoL improvements but all the changes are within Pokémon lore. It feels like a GBA game now and takes my top spot as favorite Pokémon game
Maybe check the hash is correct. I’ve downloaded Mint from their various official mirror sites and have gotten one that had an incorrect hash, which caused issues.
I use Mint because I use lots of small project software that tends to only have packages for Debian/Ubuntu. Mint also works very well with an NVIDIA card. I’ve tried other distros but they fail to work well with nvidia.
When I get a new AMD laptop I want to try Vanilla OS as apparently it can use any package format but is also immutable which I like. I just hope they have the KDE Plasma edition out by then because I really don’t enjoy Gnome
Batocera is nice too. It’s half an emulation console and half Kodi. You can tell it to launch Kodi as default too. Whereas LibreElec is only Kodi with a limited gaming ability
My brother-in-law got a Switch for his kid. They tried to play the “free” classic emulated games but then it stopped him and said he had to create some online account which costs money. That’s some scummy tactics to get you to pay a subscription for a “free” game
Sherpa is by far the best. I personally find GB southern English female medium very natural sounding
We’ll have to see if the general consumer is willing to pay full price. It seems likely as people generally just go along with things. If so then Nintendo will definitely keep prices high
If the price never drops and a “must have exclusive” arrives you would purchase one? Why would you let that change your principle on the matter? It’s just a game, probably overly priced too. Vote with your money. Let Nintendo know that it is too expensive for the average family.
Be prepared for your router to not work until you figure out how to set stuff up. So hopefully this isn’t your only router. I converted a router to OpenWRT and my knowledge of networking was super basic. It was very confusing but I did get it working in a few days. However, I couldn’t get some things working like a VPN or updating without wiping all my settings. OpenWRT is router firmware, not NAS software. You’ll need to run something like CasaOS, OpenMediaVault, TrueNAS, etc for that.
This website is a great starting point for router configurations: https://routersecurity.org/#StartHere
I tried it and it’s awesome. I like it better than Liquid Crystal. It feels way more retro but also modernized at the same time. The 60fps world is a huge improvement
I like Bleachbit but I’ll check this out
What are you talking about?
That looks awesome. I might switch over to that version, or at least give it a try
The Pokémon Liquid Crystal ROM hack, a gen 2 remake for GBA
Futo gave them a micro-grant this month
