CVE-2022-2601 was discovered in 2022, but for unclear reasons, Microsoft patched it only last Tuesday.
I respect their journalistic integrity for not speculating, but it was definitely because the NSA was exploiting it.

Consider pixelfed, the fediverse alternative to Instagram
It’s only guaranteed to work with pixels. It still works with other phones, but with varying degrees of success and obviously no official support.
I don’t think that’s part of why they do it. I’m an avid civ 6 fan, and I can say that the launcher is pretty unobstructive. Between launching from steam and launching from the 2k launcher, it takes about a minute. It’s likely to collect data, but honestly the only useful data they’d get is the pc hardware, the length of play, and common mods. 2k probably saw that they weren’t getting sellable data and decided to scrap the idea, honestly it’s probably the only decent thing the company has done in years.
The West is using the strategy of a 4 year old.
Whatever I want the outcome to be is the rules
A foreign diplomat was killed on their soil. Of fucking course they’d reject the call to “stand down”. Most western countries have gone to war for less.
Only 4? Those are rookie numbers
Not if Turkiye attacks first. NATO is only a mutual defense pact, it doesn’t back first strikes
Edit: I felt like I need to point out that this is what’s on paper. That hasn’t always been the case historically.
A title is just something a company calls a particular job. A role is what that job actually is. So a lot of jobs might be called “QA engineer”, but not fitting the intended role
I’m thinking of it not as a title, but a role. Often times the 2 are not related
That’s what QA engineering is for. They are integrated into the dev team and they pull double duty with QA and code review.
I think QA engineering needs to become more widespread. The “extra pair of eyes” can’t compare to a department of people dedicated to code review and testing.
I’d also call it very liberal. Scratch a lib and all that
“majority opinion” doesn’t matter, government actions do. Regardless of the majority opinion, what has occurred and other things that continue to occur are irreparably destroying lives and killing people.
Does forced sterilization lend any credibility to that statement?
I don’t hear about other countries doing forced sterilization on immigrants.
It’s pretty damn hard to become a citizen in the US, and there are several studies showing that even legal immigrants from non-white countries with citizenship will face discrimination for their entire time in the US. Let’s not forget how we treat people at the border either. There’s significant evidence of genocidal treatment of immigrants at the Southern border, like forced sterilization
The US is one of the most xenophobic countries in the world.
Our countries are also dystopian. It’s just not in the “I’m deprived of legal rights” sense, yet
My workplace offers a mental health benefit similar to this, we inform HR that we’ve scheduled a mental health appointment during work, tell our manager that we’re stepping away for an hour, and then return to work after the appointment. It would be a good idea to ask someone in your company how to use your benefit.
I’ll be the first person to remind you that HR is not your friend, but this is exactly what they exist for
