Don’t forget Sales people too. At my company they frequently schedule fun activities right in the middle of the day.

Wow, what an odd coincidence.
That one is my aspiration too. Is retirement as great as it seems?
For a moment I thought this was a reply to the McDonalds headset comment and I was so confused, lolll

Wkuk, always knew when to stop before they crossed that line. 👍
When is Lemmy going to fix spoiler tags?
Sheesh!
Lest we forget, yes.
Musk referring to X users as “earth” was so ridiculous.
My mind is blown! (And my paperlessngx server is about to get really busy!!! :)
OK. I guess it’s time to go start my rutabaga farm now.
Hi! I use a MS Xbox S wireless controller on Ubunut almost every day and it “just works” but your controller seems different.

Also, does this help at all?
https://github.com/medusalix/xone
xone is a Linux kernel driver for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S accessories. It serves as a modern replacement for xpad, aiming to be compatible with Microsoft’s Game Input Protocol (GIP).
I completely spaced on that game, somehow. Wish I hadn’t, for sure.
Seriously. What are they going to do next?
I just signed into YT for the first time in ages to verify this, and you’re right - I am not “verified” with YT, so they won’t let me upload any custom thumbnails. You’re right to not want to give them your phone #, but then again, I imagine they did this because people will game the system, setting a misleading thumbnail for an otherwise unrelated video. (Set the title & image to say, “How to do X” but then the video tries to sell them something else entirely).
But in the end, it’s their platform, as crappy as it is, you have to work within their rules. This is why we need better options for uploading videos. I know you mentioned PeerTube, but have you tried one of these alternatives?
My American self: Three WEEKS!?!?!!!?!!?
Just jumping in here to say thanks @HotWheelsVroom@lemmy.ml for this recommendation.
Before this, I had not heard of this series. I’ve been playing FlatOut 2 from Steam this week though and it’s a blast. So thanks!
