I’ll never understand this “protesting doesn’t work” talk. I’m pretty sure it’s just false, but I don’t know where it comes from. Just stay inside if you want. who the fuck cares? what are you exactly?

The group that keeps throwing these events is constantly telling people how to contact their congresspeople and what to say to them, and is gathering support for a strike on may day. at these events people are handing out flyers for their groups, zines, petitions. I met a couple who do a marxist quarterly, and an environmental group organizing more serious demonstrations.

It was great to get out and just chat with people and feel sane for a little bit. The reason it was on a weekend and with proper permits was to get as many people out as possible.

for shooters its very intense. with into the radius I was practicing reload drills, and counting rounds as I shoot them so that I can keep one in the chamber and do it faster. knowing where all my gear is on my body so that I can grab things as I need them in a pinch. dropping clips on the ground as im reloading in a panic. practicing actually holding the gun and aligning the sights quickly.

bone lab had me smashing things over the head with the butt of the gun when they got too close to fire at them.

yea, obviously colonialism is the core issue. wizards are wet. but i think there would be less power behind colonialists if the generally accepted moral compass placed more value on human life

regular people in israel are told constantly that muslim people hate them because they are jewish. it’s the narrative that is used every time they hear about rockets flying over. they live in the old testament. they think this is the only way that things could ever be, because of some curse put on them by god.
