The average age of Palestinians in Gaza is 19. The last election was when they were 2 years old so saying the majority of ~2 million people support a group of 30-40k people in their midst that haven’t been voted on in their lifetime is kinda ridiculous.

What to expect is not to have collective punishment of anyone who is a Palestinian for the crimes of the minority. Punishing 100% of the population for 1-2% of them who are actual criminals.

50% of the population is under 19 and never elected Hamas, they weren’t even alive during the last election in Gaza. Give them a chance at peace and maybe even prosperity so they can have hope, love and a chance to not keep passing hate to a new generation.

The difference is that the comparison shouldn’t happen because Gaza is not actually a prison so the people in it aren’t prisoners they are civilians with militants mixed in because there is no way out.

If Israel didn’t oppress and let the people live their lives, then perhaps they wouldn’t lash out with these rocket attacks.

It’s like a prison riot. You have to fight back knowing that you will be crushed again, but if you don’t Israel will just continue the slow slaughter of Palestinians.

If you can try to get some breathing room and make it painful to the other side you can hope Israel will someday stop.

Israel has occupied The Gaza strip for decades while Russia is invading Ukraine. Is kind of discounted by the occupation of Crimea but since that is in contest right now, maybe that’s not so much an occupation anymore but a war.

It isn’t ideal but working 5 days a week on opposite schedules once a week is minimum and one week there is a natural occurence that makes one of us feel not super into sexy times.

Currently there isn’t an excessive amount of deaths in Gaza but that doesn’t mean Israel won’t eventually start pushing them harder.

I see it less as a threat that they will do something in that country, it is that they will want to leave and go back to fight for Ukraine and they will be no longer working in the country they went to, if these countries were getting labor from the refugees then they will lose that as they leave.
