Flash drives and periodic transfers.
Works with anything plugged into the wall. Software developer most of the time. Helped start a makerspace once.
Will talk about Linux, plants, space, retro games, and anything else I find interesting.
Flash drives and periodic transfers.
Other games ive liked on the steam deck:
I like pixel games and/or great flow state. The SD has some of the best speakers on handhelds ive ever owned plus audio jack (wooo!). For flow games, ill often put them on and have an audiobook or podcast going at the same time.
Nice. Its such small footprint game. Im tempted to get it for mobile/ other game console just to keep going. Steam deck is great, but I need something smaller when I go out.
Housing Taxes also increase.
Htop or top
If it’s on Zillow then yes. The trick is to find houses that are not on MLS/Zillow…but realistically there are none. GL! We got ours wnd in one year it went up 40%in a year.
Also in my area that house is a steal and would have offers before it hit Zillow.
That’s rough buddy.
I hate that I understand this. Well done.
I have an old mac mini that was a server for a good 4-ish years.
The good:
The bad:
I would use it as a specialty server if you have something you do automatically only macs can do. Or as a thin client/vm box.
I used to use it as a CI/CD box before github actions was a thing. If you happen to have one, sure set it up for fun. If you dont and are looking at buying one, I would suggest a cheap dell desktop or (depending on what you want to host) a pi 5 or thin client and throw linux on it.
git yes.
GitHub like services, no. Codeberg/forgejo looks promising, but theres a lot of discussion on what it should “look” like. Seems like its a pretty big challenge to do correctly.
Quick q what are you using to host your podcast site? I went and followed on Mastodon, since that works best for personal lists for me.
I like Linux and I like the idea of prepping (or sometimes making fun of it) so I think this should be good.
Love me some makertube.
Some services Ive been looking at:
I wish they didnt double down on snaps…
Whats some good IPTV channels?
Ive been enjoying Good Boy Galaxy. Its a new GBA game that is also going to hit steam soon. Its a fun little platformer/metroid lite kind of game.
Ive put in an unhealthy amount of time playing Peglin. Its a peggle rouge like game. I didnt think I would like it, but I ended up getting it after seeing Many A True Nerd play it.
I just beat Cobalt Core. Its like FTL but has its own charm and playstyle.
I have one running on the equivalent of a pi. It works no problem. The biggest issue is the constant io and network traffic but it’s not terrible.
I wish there was a only poll once every x amount of time instead of the constant polling, but it’s a good solution. I use lemmy.world as the main account and the other account when I need to post under my real name with some projects I run. Plus it makes for a good development instance since I work on lemmy from time to time
Games:
Ah gotcha. I’m on cell so it just looks unformated text.
I can’t think of any windows specific games I’ve payed for the last two years.
