My boss doesn’t do meetings. Every once in a while he approves my vacation request and I get notified it’s approved. Sounds better than it is, but it is better than pointless daily meetings. Adult daycare crap.

I’ve been trying the trial/100 searches a month. Using very sparingly, but I like how it pulls up actual sites instead of ads disguised as websites. Idk if I’d pay $5 or $10USD to use it though. Bit steep.
Millionshort is another one, haven’t used them in a while. The results were meh but nice that you can filter out major websites.

Way too much emphasis on making it look like a calendar app. It should just be a list at that point.
Not bad, not great. I buy my veggies from a grocery that specializes in that, it’s much cheaper and less plastic. No yogurt? No solid/brick cheese? No nuts and dried fruit? No canned beans or dried beans? Peanut butter?
What you really need is a $/portion table to see what’s actually expensive here.
I think the muffins tip you over the edge into junk food land. They are very empty and basically the same as the rolls, the kraft dinner, and whatever is in the red box. A fair bit of this stuff is basically sugar and bread.
When I see stuff like this I just never go back there again. I don’t give a shit what celebrities do or say. Make good movie. Be good actor.
Israel is doing the best it can do in a difficult moral situation.
I wish I could block sources as well as users.

Very cool thanks for sharing. I need to discover more projects like these.
Wow fuck that.
I’m going to home on lemmy.today or lemmy.sdf.org.
I feel like I’m turning into ‘that guy’ again but cryptocurrency could help this out.
a) connect wallet to lifehacker
b) have fractions of a cent taken out to unlock articles
I know people can bypass it/copy paste, but at the end of the day it would be another source of revenue. They are surviving as is, but barely.
Scotch Super33+ Hmm I think I’ve seen that packaging before. I’ll have a look for it next time I go to the store.
I also use sticky notes like @RedHandsome@kbin.social. I’ve tried electrical tape but I don’t like how it goes gunky after a while.
I have a lutron maestro light switch that has LED lights, but I like it. I can see it when I walk to the bathroom at night or when I walk into the apartment and it’s dark. I also like the LEDs in my keyboard. But that’s it. I have my monitor lights covered, and the USB charger, router, and power bar lights might end up with similar treatments soon.
$18 in Canada. Seems normal.
I’d pay more to see IMAX, but I think it’s a lot more/too much.
You’re paying $20 to watch a series of giant, unmutable, unskippable and loud ads. It’s like going to a restaurant and the waiter reminds you to stop by the car dealership on the way home to experience the thrill of the new Chevy Equinox. Get ready for a journey that combines style, performance, and endless possibilities.
Ads are fairly new, like the car commercial kind of ads. Before you’d show up early to watch the trailers. No one would show up early to watch ads.
And you have to create an account (with 2FA) to buy the tickets. In specifically inconvenient.
And the fee stacks too which is insane.
I replaced mine with a usb cable. No batteries.
