pass and continue are absolutely not equal (pass is a noop, and python has a continue keyword that does what you think), and switch is called match like in many other languages. except is weird though.
currently i have projects going in python, go, rust, lua, zig, gleam, shell, and c#.
i don’t get much actual work done.
until you need a ^ and have to deal with dead keys
of course it isn’t the point, and i try to rp as much as possible in games like this, but sometimes you just need to talk tactics or get someone to do a quest with you. outright banning it seems counterproductive.
sounds impractical in what is basically a numbers game. i get it for things like muds.
i know what roleplaying is, or at least what this game seems to think it is…
i want to know what “enforced” means. they don’t say.
what do they mean roleplaying is “enforced”?
and to think all lemmy users live like this
no i mean the hacker should do that instead
XFCE looks closest shape-wise. it also has the advantage that you can customise it using css.
while not exactly what you’re looking for, DesktopPal97 may be worth looking into as a base for your own theme.
finally i can get a working wifi driver on opensuse aeon again
yeah mozilla are opposed to the current suggested implementation. it’s massively flawed and only well-defined for the happy path. if you want to know what i mean, try switching phones.
but like… if your entire customer base is saying you’re wrong, aren’t you then wrong by definition? the buyers set the prices, in a way.
yeah that’d do it. on X11 this is a solved problem, but wayland delegates the responsibility to the wm, and i don’t think anyone other than gnome has actually implemented it. another one of the paper cuts that makes it hard for me to make the switch.
in most systems this is global. it’s provided by the desktop and programs just see a copy/paste event. are you on wayland by any chance?
