Yeah. And it’s not just them. People do this all the time. It’s so obvious it’s almost insulting.
I do want to see bushcraft content, but jfc, bushcraft posts go in the bushcraft pile.

Ok look… nobody is fooled that you’ve joined Lemmy 9 hours ago and are trying to self-advertise. You’ve been spamming your video link everywhere it doesn’t belong, and not said a word otherwise. You’re probably going to get banned once enough people get annoyed and report you for spam.
Lemmy users as a whole HATE ads.
If you want to share your video I recommend being sincere about it and put it somewhere like !Bushcraft@lemmy.ml Yes, it’s pretty dead there. It could use someone to post content, like yourself. Just stop trying to disguise it, and instead be like “I’m a bushcraft Youtuber and I made a log cabin”.
Best wishes from a bushcraft appreciator / Lemmy user.

I use Mint for my streaming laptop and it works fine - great, even.
My main PC is still on Windows because from what I understand FL Studio needs WINE to run, and I could never get WINE to work on the streaming laptop. That plus 10 years of files and shit that I don’t know if they will work or whatever if I did switch over. Pretty sure most or all of my Steam games would work fine, it’s just too many unknowns for everything else. I’d be happy to be proven wrong but it’s too big of a hassle for now.

Lunacid. Just finished 100%ing it and I’m impressed. I wasn’t expecting to get so much out of it, but it took nearly 40 hours.

I’ve been on a 3D platformer binge.
Just finished Castle on the Coast and was pleasantly surprised. It starts off feeling a little janky, but after the first 30-60 minutes realize it’s intentional and you are a silly giraffe parkour GOD. Some later levels get into abstract platforming and refreshingly different mechanics than I’ve experienced before. Worth checking out if you’re a 3D platformer-head.

Currently playing through Spyro Reignited Trilogy. Never played any of them before, but always wanted to. Just finished the first one and it was quite fun, although I did not like the final boss. There should have been a checkpoint after the first phase (2 keys phase). Looking forward to finding out how they developed the mechanics from there in 2 and 3.

Breaking a commandment doesn’t send you to hell, it’s just a ding on your record which you can wipe clean infinitely by asking for forgiveness.

Into the Unwell playtest. It caught my attention at Summer Game Fest and I was lucky enough to get the invite. I am loving it so far and can’t wait for it to release. Go wishlist it now!
Also playing a bit of Garfield Kart: Furious Racing. Fun little Kart game and the sequel is in the works.

Last Day of Magic is my favourite song by The Kills

Thanks, SPEZ!

Ah yes, I know your cat Sencha from your posts lol. I’ll check out the ER3s. Thanks!

Oh yeah, Crinacle is a legend. How long have you had these and how often do you use them?

I would appreciate a flat response, but my top priority is durability. The earbuds that came with my phone 7 years ago lasted for 5 years.
I’ve gone through 2 more sets of earbuds and 1 set of IEMs (the Chu 2) in the last 2 years. Not sure if I’m particularly tough on them / use them more frequently than other people (probably), or if everything is just built like shit these days.

Any recommendations?
I tried the Moondrop Chu 2 and they were great, but after 6 months of daily use the sound is partially cutting out and I have to jiggle the wire to “fix” it temporarily. Need something more durable.

Pixel art roguelike with like 30 different starting classes and different game modes. Working my way through the 221 achievements to 100%. It’s highly addictive, has a sense of humour, and it’s made by an indie dev that I admire.

Tails of Iron. I’m having a blast with it. The voice actor that did Geralt’s voice as the narrator is a lot of fun. Combat feels good. Only complaints are the side quests (optional) can be a little repetitive, but worth it if you want new gear. And the jumping/ledge-grabbing mechanic feels a bit imprecise. Overall a fun game so far.

I like the feeling of getting stronger and coming back to previously inaccessible places. Pretty much only play games on Steam.
I’m surprised I haven’t seen anyone mention Hollow Knight yet. I won’t claim it on my list since I haven’t finished it yet, but it seems to be popular.

Do you know how to do the lightning reversal?
I think so in theory. I acquired it, but haven’t found anyone using lightning yet. LB to parry/absorb, RB to unleash it?
Have not made it past Genichiro phase 1 yet so I went elsewhere looking for powerups. I beat Juzou first try, but the long arm centipede man took hours, a lot like every other boss and mini boss lol.
I have to run “fsck /dev/sda9” every time my Mint laptop battery dies. No idea why or how to automate that if it’s possible. The last time took like 9 hours to check everything, AND THEN told me I had to run some check again and can’t use “-y” and had to manually enter “y” for every prompt. Wtf and why? I thought Mint was the normie distro made for me.
