Heh you described my problem exactly. Waylaid did get busted in my attempt to get it working again. I was hoping that given the kernel update broke nvidia they would push a fixing update.

Tbh. I have been experimenting for a while to sid what I need to keep win for and am happy enough to make linux my big partition now. Given the nvidia drivers issue on the new kernel im tempted to look elsewhere

I had to roll back my kernel when deb flung out the last one due to drivers. They updated them yet as I haven’t noticed them in updates

The plan is to ditch win in the long term. Not quite at that point yet.

I’m not overly fussed about upgrading windows any further for this reason but I do remember seeing deb have a similar solution for the bootloader bug it’s addressing with the warning in the release notes it spooked me

I have been avoiding a deb upgrade to 12 1 because of this. However you have me wondering if I’m overly paranoid as my installs while on the same bootloader are on different drives

Yeh it was system x I worked on out default was redhat. I forget the other options but win and mac sure as shut wasn’t on the list

Tbh when I got my current phone it gave me the option of installing a duckduckgo browser. Seems to work fine and gives you a 1 button burn option that clears out cookies etc.

Only thing I have noticed is fb doesn’t let you log in but tbh that’s only a good thing in my book.

For yt I have gone down the route of ff + ublock
