Yea really happy with it. It only struggled some summers when I used to live in a small apartment in a large city.

It must hang for its sins (of not working when too close to the pi)

Hi I already made the switch to Netcup and am quite happy with their pricing and service!
I use OVH for some professional usecases, but for my personal needs I find them too expensive.
Never heard of univirtual, I’ll check them out
Merci :)

Easy Immich reply for me
I use Netcup VPS

I’m not sure if they provide the service for non French organizations, but FramaSpace offers free nextcloud instances for some non profits.
My local ecology-focused organization has an instance thanks to them ♥️

Yea, but at a small company (~15 workers). It took a few weeks of back and forth because I didn’t have a real work-related reason to switch.
Yea Zen is amazing, especially the neat Workspaces feature.
I’m still going back to Firefox because of tab groups.

Oh! Great resources thanks

Hey at least they finally upgraded their awful account website ahah

I might have been unlucky, I hope you’ll have a better experience than me! Let’s not forget that I’ve been very happy with them for years before this happened.
Still hesitating between Netcup and a dedicated Kimsufi, but I am most likely going with Netcup in a week when their Easter sale starts :)

Thanks for the explanation :)

Why should I stop using vps for my needs? I looked at the dedicated servers but they’re all too expensive for me.
And yea I would like it to be all SSD, to me it makes a big difference for browsing large file collections, pictures and videos.

I would have really liked to use their servers, but unfortunately they don’t have the right combination of specs for me.
Consumer wise though, they’re great. I use their products regularly for my company.

I couldn’t find similar products on Ionos and Hetzner (either too expensive or not enough storage).
However I didn’t know Netcup, and it seems to be a pretty good fit! Especially the VPS 3000.
Thank you :)
Oh! So you mean pointing it downward? Would you mind explain how that works? I’m clueless when it comes to these things
Some context, the house is on two levels and this is level 0. The ceiling above is level 1. Also we’re on the edge of the house not the center, the tip of the antenna is pointing towards the center
