At first I was outrage by this: forældrekompetenceundersøgelse. Then I read this sentence: “The municipality told her she was “not Greenlandic enough” for the new law banning the tests to apply, despite her being born in Greenland of Greenlandic parents.”
You have a 1.5 mo old. You don’t have time. Be a dad. Be a husband. Be a hobbyist.
Take the easy route now. Come back when your kid and family are in a flow state.

Agreed. After looking into it, there’s a clear and established process for drivers and it should be the same for bikers.

It looks like you can self host Navidrome.

Am I missing something? From what I see, this guy does tech repair videos. Did he get hit by an ebike?

Here’s the heart of the argument.
“Since e-bikes do not require a license, drivers of e-bikes can simply ignore their traffic summons with no repercussions whatsoever, making any enforcement futile,” the police spokesperson said. However, the new requirement that cyclists appear in court, or face an arrest warrant if they fail to, creates “a strong incentive to show up in court.”
The article does a good job of explaining why a court summons is any where from an unfair inconvenience to down right dangerous for some, but the initial concern should be addressed.
Model collapse hasn’t been completely solved, but a recent paper suggested a method to delay it.
The authors are transparent about the framework’s current limitations. The primary challenge is catastrophic forgetting; as the model sequentially integrates new edits, its performance on earlier tasks degrades (Figure 6). While SEAL can perform multiple updates without a complete collapse, robustly preserving knowledge remains an open problem for this line of research.

My group recently switched to Matrix and so this would be a tough sell, but it seems interesting. I haven’t been a fan of Matrix and miss the ease of UI in discord, but was happy to leave with it’s direction. How would you sell it with a small group that has small, but mounting usability issues with Matrix?

The queue can be sorted by date. If you hit date again it reverse the order.

A little box you can put your app.
If the app does bad, it doesn’t sink your ship. Just throw the box over board and repackage the app.
I’m not sure most people need it, but it could be fun to use a new app inside a container. Also makes updating that needs a restarting without shutting down your other services.

Are we still doing phrasing?
This post is far too spicy for mildlyinfuriating

This only makes sense if they are trying to grow and customers are rational actors at every purchase point. Neither is true in this situation. And it’s obvious because there pizzerias that have delivery fees in the same marketplace as ones with free deliveries.

Except there’s a local market price for that pizza. If your pizza is on par with a pizzeria two minutes away and doesn’t do free delivery, you can’t charge more. You’ll lose all your pickups to them.
You have to understand their claim as well and how it is rooted in their narrative of history.
The ROC’s claim is they are the legitimate government of China as it’s boundaries were in 1947 when the ROC established a new constituiton. However, in 1949, they retreated to the island of Taiwan and setup a political and economic system. Despite the loss of the civil war, they think they still have a claim on the space and had international support for that claim until 1970.
I don’t think the claim is strong, but it necessary for them to maintain autonomy of the island. It’s a rather unique situation as far as I’m concerned.
And just to head off any heat, I’m not posting this to adjudication whose right and whose wrong, but to clear represent their argument to the best of my limited ability. PRC has a different claim and an interpretation of history.

If others aren’t familiar with the TV show “Beverly Hillbillies”, it was a show in the 60s and in syndication when I was growing up. It consists of of a family from the Ozarks who move to Beverly Hills. They continue to live life like they always have, but now in CA with rich neighbors. When the neighbors see this, they look down at them.
I remember there were neighbors who tried to get them to leave the neighborhood or try to trick them in some way. But the family would always outsmart them while maintaining the moral high ground.

Hilarious when I confused the eighteenth with the ninteeth.
