Russia’s youth, according to the book’s narrative, must understand the tragedy of the Soviet collapse, the perfidy of the West and the need to sacrifice themselves for the greatness of the Russian motherland.
Some light reading… yuck

My kid got a pc. I installed linux on it.
I installed the exact same distro on my pc, as well as the same software, so i can attempt yo troubleshoot if needed.
So far its been rock solid. It runs pretty well too, despite it being an i5 4570
I have linux mint. It just instantly finds my brother printer on install, as soon as it connects to my network
I have an L2340dw model. Nothing new and fancy. But its been rock solid for almost 10 years now. Cost me 100 euros.
I have the same gpu (and intel 8700K)
I got audi running to my monitor which then sends it to my speakers, in mint its stuttering and tertible, but smooth as silk on windows.
It runs fine though, in terms of games (only tested CSGO though) in 144hz. Not entirely sure about other features (freesync etc)
I had to update the kernel to get multi monitor and proper resolutions to work
And he mostly talks about phones anyway… hardly relevant to the avg pc enthusiast as he only covers macbooks and not their competition, which is silly.
Lots of kids have to present their school projects etc using powerpoint or similar.
This is what i did.
9 years ago. Still runs like new. Great little thing!
Its 100% wireless though. But connects to my router and then everything on the LAN can print
The biggest issue ive had (ive only used ubuntu) is the file management. Disks and file system is a bit different from boyh mac and windows, and i had a hard yime figuring out where and how, etc.
I couldnt figure out how to get my home network to work (so my windows pc could grab files off the linux pc) and such.
I had no issues setting that up, between my mac/windows pcs
I do plan on installing linux for my sons pc which he will then be forced to learn to some degree.
Ask the waiter?
