Fair point on disabled people and mothers shouldn’t be counted for a year after birth. If rich people are unemployed yes they should be counted.

I’d prefer a straight up count of individuals not in school, training, or employment age 18 to retirement age.

The unemployment rate is a lie. If you’re unemployed for more than six months you stop being counted.

I took a class on behavioral interviewing back when I was a food service general manager. It was very different from the question on the form above. I had to interview a lot of people. Hundreds over the years.

The essence of behavioral interviewing is actually very simple.

Rather than ask “Can you tell me about your leadership abilities?”

You ask “Can you tell me about a time when you used your leadership abilities to overcome a problem?”

Most of the time they will answer as if you asked the first question. Let them finish or wait for a pause, then say “What I’d really like to know is if you can tell me about one specific example of when you used your leadership abilities.”

You can encourage them to provide an answer by saying “This doesn’t have to be about work, it could be from a family situation, something from your community life, or something from school.”

I think it is very effective.

Not really. I buy them when they’re $1 or less, in season. I’ve never even made avocado toast for real. I cut them in half, score them, then squeeze lime juice on plus salt or Tajin. Scoop them with a spoon. So delicious.

The testing may be more expensive to the point that it’s not worth it. But if they don’t make profit on blood they have to test, more blood is always better.

Actually aren’t they testing the blood anyway? I used to be very poor and I would sell my plasma twice a week. $30 for the first visit and $40 for the second. They tested all the plasma. Plasma “donation” centers are mad corrupt. I wasn’t trying to help anyone I just desperately needed the money.
