BL3 was just as much (if not more) of a mess - people shouldn’t be surprised, especially with Randy telling people they should be selling their souls to have the privilege of playing this game.
…said on a device with a battery…
Perhaps not the most related, but it is sort of funny for The Intercept to cover this when they led to Reality Winner going to jail because they didn’t follow basic journalistic protection of sources.
That’s not what happened. Instead, in the process of fact-checking the document, the reporters assigned to the story sent the document to the FBI, which sent it to the NSA. The security agency easily identified Winner, a crypto linguist, as the source of the leak.
Not a great look for Proton though, this is entirely the antithesis of their entire identity and branding.
We did this for a while, but now it’s hard to find the time and harder to justify the price.
Instead, we find coop games to play on the couch with Steam Decks (unless she’s busy playing Silksong).
Nice to be able to play a few rounds of Unrailed before bed
Just insert the ad into the middle of the AI slop paragraph. People won’t even notice when that pizza receipt using soap contains an ad for Dove.
I mean, if the choice is between $70 [my favorite food] and $20 my other favorite food, im chosing the $20 lunch.
Regardless, there are no doubt games that fill the same genre - idk, Wildgate, Outer Worlds, something where the devs actually value your money.
I wouldn’t consider Elon literally ignoring the reality of Deus Ex (i.e. Elon is the villain) to be its legacy.
Elon being a dumbass is his legacy.
Not like we consider killing John Lennon to be Catcher in the Rye’s legacy
He’s busy sucking Trump’s Toes.
Apparently dismantling USAID and undoing all of his humanitarian efforts doesn’t bother him enough to not be important in the room.
Alternative Title: Donald Trump has a praise kink
Meh, I’d rather not support Randy Pitchmeyourentirewallet.
Better value with indie devs - like Silksong for $20, or Unrailed 2 for $20
Neat, though I feel like $7/mo is a little steep
And by selling the sequel for basically the same price (adjusted for inflation), it seems like they’re using that wealth for good by pressuring greedy publishers to push prices down, not up.
BL4 for $70 doesn’t seem like all that great of a deal when you might spend more time with a $20 game.
Vita was a little too ahead of it’s time - trying to use psn without consistent network traffic was awful.
You shouldn’t need to reconnect just to see if you have messages. Hopefully they don’t require propriety memory or abandon the unit months after release either
Call it dubblefish
Well perhaps the bigger problem is the Verge reviewing it as a gaming rig
The fact that the RAM is just literally unupgradable due to the structure of the chip really just drives that home - they shouldn’t have made it a desktop.
Idk, maybe some sort of cluster piece or something?
Not just that, but if you think about it for longer than these MBAs have - there’s no way for it to be more efficient.
Not only are we talking energy costs, but you also need someone to double check and review all of the AI code - and anyone that has ever coded because will tell you that reviewing someone elses code takes a fuck ton longer - so much that using AI is actually marked with a decrease in efficiency.
It is sort of funny to think that a developer that was resurrected from the dead, might somehow, successfully pull off episodic gaming now when they couldn’t before they died.
If Valve couldn’t do it, I sort of doubt anyone can really do it. Video games are soul-crushing to develop.
