Companies still shouldn’t steal fanart. If a fan makes something they like, they should work with the fan to make it official in a way that satisfies both parties. The community would love seeing that, and the company would get what they want for a reasonable price, and probably still cheaper than paying their own artists.

I can’t think of the last time I went through a self checkout without having to wait for an employee. Sure, a lot of the time it’s just because I’m buying a bottle of wine or whatever, but, like, that’s still a problem.

It’s also super terrible security-wise, because it incentivizes employees to make their account credentials whatever is quickest to type in on the kiosk that seems to have less processing power than my cellphone. I usually look away out of politeness, but I’ve glanced at their codes a few times. Saw one that was literally 0000. Another that was just 1, because apparently they don’t even necessarily have any password requirements lol

On the third letter, it will momentarily recommend “definitely”, but after an instant, say, long enough to decide to tap the suggestion, it switches it to “Def”, and because I tapped the suggestion, I have to go back and delete the whole word and start over

It’s not actually. Age protections really do only apply to old people. If the person in the post is over 40 though, and got rejected for their birthday, they could probably at least get the company to overturn the rejection. Not sure how well they’d do in court. Most of this stuff doesn’t get enforced well, and that one is already a stretch
