It’s averaged out across a pay period, and in my twenty plus years in the service industry I’ve never heard of a server making less than minimum wage. They’re generally the highest-paid employees on a per hour basis.

No they won’t. USCG does not bill for search and rescue operations. US taxpayers will foot the bill for this.

Did you do so without taking up any time of an employee or occupying any space in their establishment for any amount of time? You’re quoting British prices to an American topic, you clearly don’t understand how any part of the wholesaler process works, you don’t know that it’s en masse, not on mass, and you don’t seem to understand that the container isn’t the only cost associated with takeout orders.

A dollar fee seems like a small price to pay to not have to deal with you as a customer.

I have never seen that style of container for takeout in my life and I spent two decades in the service industry. That’s not common in America.

Still, for arguments sake that works out to about £.05 per box. Of course, that’s if you go to the wholesaler to pick it up. If you’re running a restaurant, you probably get it delivered with the rest of your dried goods. You pay for that, just like you pay for the cutlery and the napkins and the sauce packets and the bag it all goes in.

A buck really isn’t unreasonable here. I’ve worked at spots where the takeout container was $0.30 each, and that’s without figuring in the delivery/fuel surcharge.

It’s a charge for the container your takeout food went into. They’re a significant expense, especially if it’s any type of sustainable packaging. This is not new. It has been a thing since at least the early 2000s.

Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen is fun to play, although a bit more in the vein of classical RPG than what you’ve mentioned. Plus there’s a new DD game coming out soonish, so if you enjoy it you’ll have a new title to enjoy soon.

Complaining about grinding in a Diablo game seems like an odd choice. I think Diablo might actually be the franchise that invented grinding.

It’s ok so far. It’s a lot more fragmented than reddit, which is a good thing in the long term even though it’s annoying now.

I’d also like there to be an easier way for me to filter topics I don’t want to see, like communities for languages I don’t speak or furry porn.

I would love to see a way to block communities from my feed directly from my feed. As it stands, it appears that I have to go to the main community page to do so.

Don’t worry, they’ll rerelease the game with day 1 bugs at least 4 more times over the next two years.
