Connecting infrastructure costs roughly the same to maintain regardless if 10 amps or 1000 amps is running through it. The crypto miner pays the same fee for their standard service connection then pays per Kwh just like everybody else. Other customers are not subsidizing their connection nor their power.
By your logic, you are subsidizing anyone who uses more power than you and you are being subsidized by anyone using less power than you.
An industrial facility to the scale you are refering to will likely have its own electrical substation. Either maintained by the facility itself or contracted out to the power supplier.
Fossil fuels are already protected and subsidized beyond economic sensibility for the profitably of oil barons and corrupt polliticians. Until the oil barons cannot afford bribery and still turn a profit the USA will be hooked is what I’m getting at. They’d rather keep the exploitation going until collapse happens than find a way to transition to cleaner energy sources.
Edit: I’d also like to add, it isn’t just fossil fuels setting the USA back, it’s also the development pattern. Even if everything went electric today with green energy, the USA would be wasting tons of that energy due to cultural and devlopmental patterns. This isn’t just an oil issue, it is also a land use, zoning, gabage/waste and 100s of other things that are just so damm profitable we can’t stop.
Until it is more profitable in the short term to build sustainability, America won’t do it. Profits over a liveable planet.

High expectations for minimum wage. Bet they have a high turn around rate. Would probably be cheaper to offer a higher wage to a good candidate than constantly cycle through low wage employees.

If you considering purcahsing and travel time to the store, recipe research, cooking the recipe, eating the food, cleaning the kitchen and the dishes, it adds up to a lot of time each day/week. Maybe not as much as sleeping but as a single adult living alone i probably spend at least 2-3 hours worth a day on the above tasks.
