Yeah I use overseerr on mine.
I’ve got the full stack of arr’s with overseerr for requests from the outside users. And I’m on Usenet with several different indexers.

They are all about low cost high performance builds.
Quicksync from Intel with an igpu is a god send . I’m running an i3 in my Plex server and it’s a hoss.
Good luck op
This is such a great video. Thanks for linking it. I need to watch it again
Agreed that’s what I’m doing as well.

This dude uses mini PCs for pi type tasks.
Might be easier to get a hold of.
Good luck OP
Ah I don’t use that so I can’t speak to it.
:/
If you’re sticking with Deb based distros. Ubuntu Kubuntu - same as Ubuntu but kde Kde neon Pop_os
You might could try Manjaro. I have pretty good luck with it.
It’s not Deb or apr. But it has the aur.
Good luck op!
Oh… Oh no.
Santa on water skis always looked cool
I use “gnome-disk-utility” for mounting disks.
Heck if I can get a computer to mount a drive on login… but “disks” let’s me do that easily.
Granted that might be different for your setup. So ymmv
I bet they updated their backed and the software servicer didn’t QA their email fields properly.
Good luck OP
Snag you a micropc from Amazon for like $150 and an external HDD and you’ll be golden. Selfhosting can be as small as you want. Hell sometimes I wish I had a tiny PC and a couple of 18tb externals.
Good luck op
Im doing similar with Usenet and indexers.
Automating downloading of new stuff is so much easier. Toss in overseerr with Plex authenticated requesting… You never have to touch it. Tis amazing
I’ve been on Linux for ages and ages… back when I had to order CDs for new copies of Ubuntu.
Kde is the first desktop experience that I feel is the gold standard.
Every iteration of Linux I’ve used, solus, fedora, Ubuntu, Manjaro the DE I use is KDE.
I’m not sure why… but it makes sense to me and is my gold standard experience.
This is the loss right here… those tables were perfect and apparently they no longer are. Sad day
Started on Ubuntu in 09. - got the CD in the mail On kubuntu now
Ive bounced around all over arch, Manjaro, fedora, pop_os, mint but I always come back to kubuntu.
It just works for me.
How does mapcrafter run for you now? I’m hosting a vanilla server and that’s exactly what I need to see our map. I’m just concerned that it doesn’t function properly now due to recent updates.
Thanks!
This is the way. I went plexamp after GPM died. I’ll never pay for another streaming music service. Also plexamp isn’t for only Plex pass folk now as well.
I need to upgrade my computer soon… this crap makes me not want to go Nvidia again. (Running a looooong in the tooth 1060.)
I’m going to give a shout out to Ironicbadger over at https://perfectmediaserver.com/
One of his most recent builds was on promox
I’ve been running his 2017 version of Debian with docker-compose - zfs and mergerfs. And it’s been rock solid for ages and ages.
