I totally agree and hope that this will be the turning point for the better, but my government is one that still depends on fax machines and had a recent cyber security minister that did not know how to use a computer, so…Even seeing government accounts on twitter was a big step forward.
Governments should build their own emergency communication channels instead of relying on platforms that are entirely out of their control.
If anything, it’s a good early wake up call.
