Lord of the Rings Online!
Playing Cyberpunk 2077 for the first time and having a lot of fun
Street Fighter 6! My first fighting game and the controls are difficult af, but I’m enjoying the learning process :)
Stick with it! The FGC is a great community :) We all know that initial hurdle sucksss but you’ll have a grand time ahead of you if you manage to get ahead of it. Who are you playing as?
I’m playing Manon so far! Love her aesthetic and she feels good to play :)
I’m a big fighting game enjoyer , do you know where that kind of discussion happens here? I have some in other instances but would rather contribute to an existing community here if one exists
Don’t Starve Together. It’s ruining my life since a friend gifted it to me.
I remain enthralled by TotK
Dead by daylight is having it’s anniversary event so largely that, mixed in with BattleBots and some diablo 4
Been getting back into Horizon Zero Dawn! I planned on playing more of it sooner but just wasn’t finding any interest until the past couple of days. Also picked up Pokemon Scarlet for the first time in six months to try finding a shiny Gimmighoul in the limited raid event that’s happening.
Waiting til payday for Final Fantasy XVI. Stuffing my time with Genshin Impact, Pokémon and Final Fantasy XIV!
Started playing a couple days ago. LOVING it!!
I played the demo and I was so sad when it ended. Really sucked me in good!
Got myself a steam deck and what do I play on it? Euro Truck Simulator 2. This game, I tell you, it’s so incredibly relaxing and doesn’t take a lot of brain power so it’s great to relax with while sitting on the couch in the evening. 🤷
Tears of the Kingdom, still.
I’m playing Satisfactory, there’s something really meditative about building an enormous factory on a beautiful world
Satisfactory. Still got to complete that last step. And put trains everywhere. Can’t seem to help it.
V rising. I’m playing on my own server with just my husband on occasion. At this point it’s mostly barbie dream house. I send the servants off to farm and keep redecorating.
I’m a little conflicted about having a prison in my house though. My husband tells me I’m a vampire so that makes it ok.
I started playing Battletech… (thank you Gog summer sale)
I’ve been into the BattleTech universe since I was a kid (when I first got MechWarrior 2 on Win95), and nothing has frustrated me quite as hard as some BattleTech missions.
There are some mega mod packs for that game too that drastically change the ruleset (hit mechanics, how cover and evasion works, etc) as well as add in hundreds of new units ('Mechs, armor, VTOLs, even Clan Elemental infantry if you’re playing one of the post-3050 mods). RogueTech is absolutely fucking infuriating, but so far it’s the closest you can get to tabletop rules.Thank you! Are these the expansion packs? Or are these user mods?
Community-made mods that you can find over at Nexus, but they usually require ownership of the expansions, if I remember correctly. You definitely want to play through the standard vanilla game for a while before you go messing with any mod packs though, because they are substantially harder.
awesome, good to know! Thank you, this is good advice. I hadn’t realized there were user made mods to start with, haha
My friends and I have been getting back into Team Fortress 2. Still tons of fun after all these years, especially the jump maps
Is the bot situation better now?
Much better. I’ve seen maybe 2 bots in the past month or so and they were kicked pretty quickly
