Trump is destroying his relationship with Europe thereby limiting his own soft and hard power. I truly love that for America.
I mean he’s doing his best, but Europeans sure can’t seem to get their collective heads out of his ass.
Who is doing his best to do what? Merz is extremely pro-Israel. His criticism of America’s role in the Iran war was mild at best yet Trump viewed it as a personal attack on him.
I think Europe would do better to show more spine as the US continues to isolate itself, but they have neither the balls nor the independence.
Oh I meant Trump is doing his best to try and alienate Europe, but Europeans cannot imagine the US abandoning them and have been willing to swallow every humiliation so far. Like you said they don’t have the balls to go their own way regardless of what Trump does.
