Damn dude, how are things in the US if it takes a huge battle to get raises 2% above inflation locked in for the next 4.5 years…unless I’m misunderstanding something and this is actually better than it sounds.
The neoliberal era has absolutely gutted labour power. As far as I can tell, organized labour is basically getting everything in their power at this point.
Even in Germany the metalworkers Union IG Metall, which calls itself the biggest labour union in the world, has only been able to get raises about equal to inflation.
