I have tried Raspberry Pi to stream emulator games, but I had issues with bluetooth controller (latency problems), so I thought about pc game streaming to raspberry pi and bluetooth controller will paired with PC. Its all in close range.
Raspbi is connected to TV.
Thats my last attempt to make it all kinda wireless. If it fails, I will have to connect my PC to TV…

i generally have luck with sunshine/moonlight on wifi.
you can connect your controller directly to the pi without major latency issues, but if you are streaming with decent quality you need 5ghz wifi at the minimum (ethernet is best tho), and a pi that can properly decode the video stream fast enough.
generally, the older pis simply can’t play 1080p high bitrate streams smoothly, so first things first turn down the settings and see how it goes.
Can you be more specific about where the line is? Even approximately would be helpful.
you will have to do some trial and error, depending on what you got. my own old pi was never not a server.
