He covers:

  • Discord’s previous data breach where government IDs were stolen
  • Other companies with age verification and similar promises yet have had customer data stolen.
  • Discord’s preparation to go public with an IPO.
  • How Discord’s co-founder stepped aside in 2025 and a former vice-chairman of Activision/Blizzard took over as CEO.

    I’m getting real tired of being told to delete my only methods of keeping in touch with friends and family. To what extent is someone expected to isolate themselves to the detriment of their own wellbeing to put a marginal dent on the bottom line of a multimillion dollar company?

    Wow, didn’t know the CEO changed. Not to say Discord wasn’t already going to shit before but is that why it’s becoming worse at an accelerated pace now?
