USA being an empire is not really relevant in this discussion. Their influence is dropping by the day due to their own idiocy. Europe not buying russian oil is the correct choice. Nobody should support any country waging war on a sovereign state. That includes Russia, Israel and obviously USA when they actually attack e.g. Iraq or Iran.
