I don’t. Please make the header and footer smaller or non-floating on mobile. And padding of the text is too wide too.

And on desktop, * {…} rules are not good behavior. Firefox complains about quirks mode too.

There are alternatives like runit, dinit, s6. About some of the more useful features of systemd, how about we recreate them without thight coupling to one specific init+service manager-in-one?

Maybe we are way past the curve where more processing power means shorter processing times/more energy savings vs. going full power for every little bit.

Not yet. Panel autohide is bound to the WM (notebook display is small enough already), which doesn’t work with niri. Currently fiddling with Waybar. I just need a task panel, tray and clock + battery.

I vastly prefer connman/iwd, always had weird issues with NM. Currently running connman-gtk on XFCE.

And tweaking to your needs, isn’t that expected for a new desktop setup? One hour isn’t even that much.
I’m amazed again and again how stuck even technical people can be in their habits.
