A brief explanation as to what this is would be helpful; I went to your site and the description there was helpful.
Otherwise, reading this Lemmy post, I have no idea what this does.
Seems great though and thanks for sharing. :-)

My concern is that the WireGuard portion of the router fails for some reason but still routes.
It also allows me to choose another port

One instance runs on the router (Unifi USG) and the other on a Pi3 (as a backup) using PiVPN.
Usually, if I need to set it up, I’ll use PiVPN and either a Pi or Debian/Ubuntu host.
Now have a pfSense box…
Too bad you didn’t go with OPNSense; pfSense is a shit company.

Only get the Pi if you need a specific HAT or GPIO. And even then get a zero.
Or if you want to run the machine via PoE.

Seconded. My option is that if it’s vital to my infrastructure or my family I don’t self host it. Let someone else deal with patching/maintenance/uptime.

Use a VPN; don’t open up SSH to the internet.

Shout to another Emby user!

What it’s like in these threads:

…reverse proxy…
Guess what I didn’t have to setup with Plex or Emby.

You’re not wrong.

You can probably find a decent APC UPS on facebook marketplace. Be prepared to buy a battery; I’ve used generics without any major issues.

Thanks!
Worth every penny to not have to jump through Jellyfin hoops to share externally.
